After this bad weekend....

When I went to weigh in I told Kris (who is in charge of the scale and the recording of our weight, that I was scared to get on the scale because I had had a bad weekend. (We wrecked 2 of our 3 cars in one accident. rolling one onto its top)(everyone walked away and is fine) When I stepped on. It said 227.4. Wow that is down almost 3 lbs from last week. Kris told me she wished she could have a bad week like that, but then she agreed with me that it would be better if we could have bad weeks with out wrecking cars it would be better.

oops

at the weigh in, I was back up to 230.0. Gee whiz its hard to lose weight during superbowl.

I am enjoying swimming at the rec. and on thursday, I went in and "played" racquetball. I have not actually played since highschool, but I had fun bouncing the ball and trying to keep it in action.

On saturday, this week I went to the Emery Gym and worked out with Carie for 40 min. it felt good.

Weigh In Week 5

I weighed in yesterday at
228.4 lbs.
yay,
this is about a pound a week. I am proud of myself, but have decided that while this is a healthy weight loss, I think I would like to lose it a little bit faster,

To do this I am going to have to get better at daily work outs and intensifying those work outs that I do.

On Monday since I have a two hour break I met a friend at the pool, and we swam for 25 min. If you want to work out different muscles, try swimming, it is way different. I very much enjoyed the change. but I am hurting a bit. I did not do my regular workout on Tuesday, but on weds. I went to the pool again. this time I did not text my friend, thinking she would be there because I had told her that I would be. She was not there. At work when I told her I had missed her, she said you didn't text me. So next monday I will text her.

I only get a membership to the rec center through my school, I plan on swimming every mon wed, between now and graduation. I think the cardio aspect of the swim will be a good trade off from my reg. workout.

Also today I will be going to town to buy a workout ball for my daughter Carie so we can work out together. It will be good for her to get physical. she mentioned yesterday that she is happy that with just eating more salad (and she is about the only one of mykids who enjoys a salad), her pants are not as tight, but she would like to work out.
